The science system in Germany is ailing in many places, but how do we communicate not only the scientific content but also the needs of the people behind the scenes? Under the workshop title “Respect@Science – Draft of a Communication Campaign” at Wisskon21, NaWik worked out together how and with whom to communicate in order to make the problems transparent. The aim was to outline a campaign to promote the recognition of scientists and their work. After a micro-input, discussions were held in specific groups.
